What is proactive AI?

Proactive AI is AI that starts the conversation. Instead of waiting for a prompt, it watches permitted signals such as email, calendar and meetings, recognises when something needs you, and brings it forward with the reason. Good proactive AI also knows when to stay quiet, and never acts without permission.

Proactive is not the same as noisy

An assistant that pings you about everything is not proactive, it is another feed. Attunefy decides both whether something deserves your attention and whether it deserves an interruption. Most of what it notices is kept quietly as context. Only strong evidence reaches Needs You.

When it interrupts, and when it waits

Interruptions follow your policy, not the volume of incoming mail. Your availability shapes what reaches you and how.

Proactive, but never autonomous by default

Attunefy observes first. It earns the right to recommend, then to draft, then to act with your approval. Consequential sends always wait for you until you explicitly allow otherwise, and you can take autonomy back at any time.

It shows its work

Every surfaced item says why it is there: the relationship, the promise, the deadline or the signal that made it matter. If a connected source falls behind, Attunefy tells you, and it will not claim that nothing needs you while it is partially blind.

Will proactive AI flood me with notifications?

It should do the opposite. Attunefy keeps most of what it notices as quiet context and reserves interruptions for items with strong evidence, according to your availability and policy.

Can Attunefy send messages on its own?

Not by default. It drafts and waits for your approval. You can later allow specific, low-risk actions for specific recipients or channels, and you can reduce that permission at any time.

What does Attunefy watch?

Only the sources you connect and permit, starting with Gmail and Google Calendar. You can see which sources Attunefy can read and disconnect any of them.

How is proactive AI different from automation rules?

Rules do the same thing every time a condition matches. Proactive AI weighs context first: who is involved, what was promised and how you treated similar items before. Attunefy also explains each suggestion, so you can correct it.
