What is personal AI memory?

Personal AI memory is the context an AI keeps about your work over time: people, relationships, commitments, decisions and preferences. Good memory is temporal and inspectable. It knows when something became true, what replaced it and where the evidence is, and it lets you correct or remove it.

Memory with evidence and dates

Every remembered fact links to its source and records when it was observed and when it stopped being true. Attunefy never treats an inferred conclusion as a confirmed fact.

What changed, not just what happened

Ask “what changed with Acme?” and the answer is a change over time: decisions made, decisions superseded, commitments added and relationships shifted. Not a generic summary.

You control what it remembers

Important memories come with controls you can use directly.

Answers that point to their sources

When you ask what was decided, who promised what, or what changed with a client, the answer points back to the messages and meetings it came from. Remembered context is something you can check, not something you have to take on trust.

Memory that gets better with you

Corrections, approvals and what you ignore all shape what Attunefy treats as important. Reflection looks for patterns over time, such as relationships becoming more or less important and assumptions that have gone stale.

Sometimes you remember an idea but not where it came from: a thread, a meeting or a Reel someone shared. Searching across work and saved Reels together is on the roadmap.

Frequently asked questions

Can I see what Attunefy remembers about someone?

Yes. Important remembered context can be inspected with its evidence, corrected, marked as no longer true, or excluded from recall.

Does it remember everything forever?

No. Retention follows configurable rules, and you can forget derived memory or delete source evidence where technically and legally permitted.

Will it confuse two people or projects with the same name?

It is designed not to. Identities are resolved with evidence, and Attunefy asks rather than silently merging two people who share a name.

How is this different from a second brain or a notes app?

You do not have to write anything down. Attunefy builds context from the sources you connect and keeps it current as decisions and relationships change.
